Feeding qualified leads from the CRM back into Google Ads
A high-ticket remodeling business in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Raw enquiries weren't the goal, so the account was rebuilt to learn from leads the sales team actually qualified.

- 77
- Cost per conversion
- $29.21

Conversions combine qualified-lead events with first-time calls of at least 60 seconds. A qualified lead has a relevant job now or a future booking.
What I found
Remodeling jobs are expensive and slow to close. If Google optimises for every form fill and short call, budget drifts toward people who were never going to book a kitchen or bathroom project.
What I decided
- Restructured the Google Ads account and corrected conversion tracking.
- Connected JobTread to Google Ads through Zapier, so qualified leads flow back as offline conversions.
- Worked with sales feedback to separate relevant jobs from general enquiries.
Judged against
Qualified leads and first-time calls of at least 60 seconds, not every form fill.
Reported result
Over two months the account spent about $2.25K and reported 77 conversions at $29.21 each, a 7.37% conversion rate.
