Google + MetaUnited States
Running Meta and Google as one system for a US D2C brand
I personally managed both Meta Ads and Google Ads for this business, and judged the two channels by what the store recorded rather than what each platform claimed.
- Store sales
- $355,321
- Ad spend, both channels
- $154,913
- Orders
- 1,847
- Average order value
- $198
Figures come from the store's business dashboard, not from either ad platform.
What I found
Two ad platforms will each happily claim the same sale. Running them side by side only works when someone looks at the business total, not two separate dashboards.
What I decided
- Managed Meta Ads and Google Ads for the business myself.
- Reviewed both channels against the store's business-level dashboard.
- Kept platform-attributed revenue separate instead of adding Meta and Google together.
Reported result
The business dashboard shows $355,321 in sales and 1,847 orders on $154,913 of combined ad spend, with a $198 average order.
The service behind this
Google Ads management
